Sclafani`s New York Bagels and Bread in Winchester

This place is awesome!! So glad this place is here. We love it. I grew up in NY and it's so nice to find a nice bagel in Winchester. Feels like home to me. Great friendly service in a family atmosphere and I can even get pork roll and egg on a terrific bagel. This place always brings a smile to my face. Love it here!

Just like being in the NJ/NY area minus the traffic! I’d say even better than all but one or two old favorites there! Love the atmosphere, and it can get busy, but for a good reason and totally worth the wait!

Great quality bagels, impressive lox sandwich, and friendly service, although ordering by phone is not smooth. There are two phone numbers, which I didn't find out about except after a long wait.

This place is authentic and amazing. This is not a chain where everything is processed. This is the real deal. I'm from WV where we are known for pepperoni rolls. I had one today at Sclafani's and it was amazing! I got another to take home later along with a loaf of bread the flavor and texture is how bread is meant to be. I had a French toast bagel with bacon egg and cheese. It was delicious. You have to try it out for yourself. Not only is the food worth the visit but the people are warm and kind. Uplifting music is playing and they also have a prayer wall that is reminiscent of what you would see in Israel. People are able to place prayers into the cracks of the brick wall. It's truly a unique place that should be on your list to visit anytime you are in town.

This place is great!! Especially concerning it is in a part of Virginia that has no idea what good bread and bagels are. Fresh made bread, fresh made crispy bagels AND FRESH MADE TO ORDER CANOLIS!!! Growing up Jersey Italian I have found my new home.

No kidding, they have the best bagels between Winchester and the Potomac River, bar none. Several different kinds, I really like Everything and Garlic Onion. Simply delicious. Excellent toasted. Very good cream cheese. Also their sandwiches are very tasty. Recommend calling ahead for your order, they usually are quite busy, especially on weekends. A little bit of New York city in northwest Virginia.

Excellent usual. You'd be hard pressed to find a better bagel spot within a 50 mile radius. Fast, friendly and I love their Lox Sandwich!

We come here almost every Sunday before church, and we honestly can’t get enough! Our order always comes out exactly to our liking, the service is super quick and the whole staff is great - very efficient and friendly. Great authentic tasting N.Y style bagels. Always crispy, warm and fresh. I am a brooklyn born guy and picky about my bagels.

One of the best everything bagels I have ever had. Staff was funny and very polite. Coffee was spot on and delicious! I got a sausage egg and cheese on a everything bagel. The sausage was juicy and was a good sized pattie. Definitely gonna come back here

Hands-down best bagels in the area. They're so fresh, and they're huge! I don't know how it took me so long to finally give them a try, but this for sure my new favorite spot. I've had the lox on salt bagel and the breakfast with sausage on everything (pictured).

Even if they are empty you can order one sandwich during lunch time and you will wait and wait... at least 20 minutes for sub par luke warm food. The bagels and cream cheese are good. You still wait a long time for that.

I love this place and come here frequently. The bagels, staff, and atmosphere are on point. I also can't believe how cheap it is!
